Cultural Heritage as the Target and Victim of War: First-hand reports from Ukraine

On February 14, 2023, representatives of domestic archaeological science will speak at the Conference of the Society of Antiquaries of London (SAL) ‘Cultural Heritage as the Target and Victim of War: First-hand reports from Ukraine’. Among the speakers are members of the Archaeological Landscape Monitoring Group, Vsevolod Ivakin and Pavlo Shydlovskyi, who will talk about the peculiarities of monitoring archaeological landscapes that were destroyed as a result of military operations in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. One of the main speakers is the director of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, Fedir Androshchuk, with the report The Museum in a State of War.
