‘PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF UKRAINE’

Format: mixed (Zoom, meeting at the address: Kyiv, Volodymyrska St., 60, Red building, room 349).
Topics of the seminar:
✧ archaeological heritage in times of war and occupation;
✧ archaeological collections in museums: completing, preservation, rescue;
✧ registration of archaeological heritage objects;
✧ conservation and museification of archaeological heritage objects: achievements and prospects.
Languages of the seminar: Ukrainian, English, and Polish. Presentation time: 10-15 minutes.

Programm Theses of the seminar
The materials of the seminar, devoted to the protection of cultural heritage during hostilities, are planned to be publishedas part of the VITA ANTIQUA almanac http://vitaantiqua.org.ua/en/main .
Materials for publication will be submitted on the day of the scientific and practical seminar “PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF UKRAINE” (November 23, 2022)

Submitted articles and report texts, formatted in accordance with the requirements, will be published in the framework of the annual almanac with the provision of DOI in the Crossrefsystem and will be freely accessible on the website of the publishing.
In order to attract the attention of society and state bodies to the issues of preserving cultural heritage during the war, printed copies of the almanac are planned to be distributed among state institutions, structures of the military bloc, museums, educational and scientific institutions.
We invite everyone interested in the preservation of cultural heritage to participate.
